MOGADISHU,(SAHALNEWS)-Somalia president Mohamed Abdulahi Farmaajo has called Al-shabaab milatants to take a peace dialogue with the Federal gov’t which is now trying to deescalate security tensions in the horn of Africa nation.

The president has offered the chance during a national reconciliation conference which was concluded in Mogadishu on late Saturday. Somalia’s interior ministry has said the path would lead a wider consultations aimed to pacify the recovering country.

Mr. Farmajo said that Gov’t is ready to welcome anyone who is willing to renounce from violence, referring to it Al-shabab which continuously carry out deadly tacks in Somalia.

However no comments could be reached from Al-shabaab which had threatened to speed up its attacks in the country.

Al-shabaab has severally denied peace calls from the Somali government.
